Update on Peanut
I am happy to report that Peanut is home from her overnight stay at the vet.
I am sad to report that Peanut cost us much moola!
Ms. Peanut had an abscessed tooth that had broken above the gum line, this caused an infection in her sinus cavity, thus resulting in pus oozing from her eye. That just about sums it up. She is doing much better after being on three additional medications and warm compresses for her face.
For those of you who have cats, you can certainly attest to the fact, cats DO NOT care for warm compresses or multiple medications being shoved down their throats. However, I digress... let me introduce Peanut. Peanut is our middle cat, she is now fourteen years young with a thyroid problem that requires daily medication to control. She has extra toes on her front feet, labeling her as a Hemingway cat. Peanut is content laying on the deck all day soaking up the sun, that is the extent to which she exerts herself. She does not meow, she grunts her approval or disapproval depending on the circumstance.
