Brasil Part 5 - Pão de Açúcar

The weekend was ours in Rio, after a quick walk on the boardwalk Saturday morning, we headed out to Sugarloaf Mountain or Pão de Açúcar.

Sugarloaf was amazing, two tram rides up to the top which sits 1300 miles above the harbor and provides views of the area for miles.  Once at the top, the breeze picked up but you could sit and sip a glass or two of wine and relax.

While at the top we encountered these adorable Sagui Monkeys, of course we were referring to them as lemurs.

A visit to Sugarloaf is a must for anyone visiting Rio, it was one of the highlights of the entire trip.
